Simply Aesthetic has recently introduced Thermojet Morfology (TM) to complement its range body contouring options. No doubt if you have been researching liposuction you have heard many unfamiliar terms bandied about. Just how does liposuction work anyway?

On the day of surgery when you enter your liposuction facility you will be asked to put on a loose fitting surgical clothing or robe. The doctor will closely examine your body and sketch out the game plan. Generally this consists our outlining fatty areas with a black Sharpie permanent marker. The actual surgery:

Are the results of the procedure permanent?

It is important to remember that liposuction is not a replacement for a diet or exercise program. The fat cells which are removed from your body do not come back. However all the body’s fat cells are not removed. If you have the procedure and continue to eat excessivly you may begin to notice the accumulation of fat in areas where fat did not exist.

We wish everyone were able to receive body liposuction if they need it but not everyone is a good candidate. It is important to note that liposuction is not a good alternative to dieting and exercise. To be considered aa good candidate for liposuction, one should be:

At least 18 years old
Overall good general health
Have tried a diet and exercise regime in the pase and find that the last 10 or 15 pounds tend to stick in certain pockets on the body.

Infection, heart or circulation problems or diabetes usually will usually prevent one’s eligibility for the procedure.

It should be noted in older people whose skin is less elastic, it does not tighten as easily to new shape. In such cases, another procedure known as a tummy tuck may be added to the liposuction.
